The Cost

The base ticket cost is $625.

6-24 pages of a fully developed character with complex connections
3 nights of lodging and meals at Camp Hi-Rock (Fri-Mon)
Photos by professional larp photographers
Staff-facilitated workshops, activities, and a weekend of roleplaying
Dedicated staff and non-player characters (NPCs) to support the collaborative story
One mid-larp rapid Covid-19 test

Not included:

Costuming: Players provide their own costuming (broad suggestions for costuming are included in character sheets). Costuming is primarily modern clothing, and there is the option (not required) to bring a medieval outfit for day 2 of the larp as well.
Printed character sheets: Character sheets will be provided electronically. Players should print their own if they want a hardcopy on hand during the larp.
Private rooms: Sleeping areas are communal, with multiple beds per room
Private bathrooms: Bathrooms are gender-neutral and communal.

The Once and Future Court is held at YMCA Camp Hi-Rock in Mt. Washington, MA.

Accommodations and Accessibility

Larp activities primarily take place indoors at Parker Seeley lodge. Players are mostly housed in New Horizons lodge.
Parker Seeley has two floors with stair access. Scheduled, staff-facilitated events will take place on the ground floor.
Staff can drive a limited number of players who need mobility accommodations between the lodges.
Most lodging is in dormitory style rooms with bunk beds and communal bathrooms.

Food and Meals

Camp Hi-Rock will be providing meals for the duration of the larp. As a site for summer camps, they are fully accustomed to handling allergies and dietary restrictions.

Also included in the cost of your ticket are snacks, coffee, and tea in the Parker Seeley lodge. The lodges additionally have a full kitchen for player use and a fridge that players can store their own food in, if they choose to bring in outside food and drinks.

The meals are included in the venue rental contract. You are welcome to eat elsewhere or bring your own food, but we cannot provide discounted tickets for opting out of venue-provided meals.

Covid Policy

We will require:

Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (as current as is available to your demographic and region)
Rapid test within the 24 hours before your time of arrival at the venue (player provides their own pre-game test)
Rapid test the morning of day 2 (included in your ticket; we will provide tests for day 2)

Releases and Agreements

When you submit an application, you will be asked to agree to the following documents:

Cancellation Policy

By Jan 12, 2027: Full refund, minus $125 initial deposit.
Jan 12-Feb 12, 2027: Full refund (minus $125 initial deposit) if your spot is purchased at full price by a replacement player*. Otherwise, 75% refund.
Feb 13-Mar 13, 2027: Full refund (minus $125 initial deposit) if your spot is purchased at full price by a replacement player. Otherwise, 50% refund.
Mar 14-Apr 14, 2027: Full refund (minus $125 initial deposit) if your spot is purchased at full price by a replacement player. Otherwise, 25% refund.
After Apr 14, 2027: No refund unless your spot is purchased by a replacement player.

* Replacement players must be approved by staff. Waitlist players are given first right of refusal for ticket purchase when an player cancels. Ticket transfer is not permitted without staff screening and approval.
