Applicants are notified if they have been accepted as a player or if they are on the waitlist. Characters are assigned, cast list is sent out to players. 1st installment of $150 due (or 1/3 of subsidized ticket price).

Full character sheets will be sent as soon as they are finalized. This may be as early as May 2026 or as late as August 2026. Updates on dates and progress will be sent out as they become more clear.

Deadline for casting remote NPCs. If players have not submitted their own casting for their characters' remote NPCs by this point, the roles will be filled by staff-assigned NPCs.

Arrive on site to check in and unload belongings. Any early arrivals may check in at the staff Bunkhouse attached to the Castle. Castle does not open until 4pm.

Brief welcome and introductions of staff. Head to dinner as a group.

Introductions in the Great Hall. Orientation to site and schedule.

In smaller groups, review the safety and calibration mechanics of the larp.
7:30 - 11pm
In smaller groups, rotate between three workshops, one hour each:
Intimacy workshop: Cultivate awareness of your own boundaries and limits, practice communicating those limits, and negotiate intimate scenes. Learn and practice the Spiced Sensuality intimacy mechanic.
Combat workshop: Cultivate awareness of your own boundaries and limits, practice communicating those limits, and negotiate aggressive scenes. Learn and practice the Dueling mechanic.
Culture workshop: Explore the Arthurian setting and the cultural norms of your character's past life. Learn and practice the Remember When mechanic.
11pm
The venue has a noise curfew at 11pm. Please respect the site's other guests on the grounds and keep your volume down outside the Castle after 11pm.

Optional social hour in the Great Hall. Alternatively, go to sleep.

Please go to sleep. If you choose to stay awake for longer, then keep it quiet so as not to disturb other players who are trying to rest.

Modern characters arrive on site.
During this time, your past life as an Arthurian character is dormant. The Perspective, Modern Life, and Modern Connections sections of your character sheet are most relevant at this stage.
3 - 3:15pm
In-game introductions from Brocéliande Productions (Melora Grivas / Ganieda, Emrys Ambrose / Merlin, Branwen Prior / Pellas, and Vivienne / the Lady of the Lake).
3:30 - 4:00pm
The hosts conduct the opening ritual for the gathering. During the prompted meditation time, your character's Arthurian past life memories return in full.
In-Character
4:00pm
From this point on, your past life as an Arthurian character is awake, active, and at the forefront of your consciousness.
You can play it as 95% Arthurian self, 5% modern self but still aware that you're in the modern era – or you can play it as 10% Arthurian/90% modern but with access to Arthurian memories – or 50/50, equal parts each – or fluctuating between the two – or any combination thereof.
5:30pm

The Cauldron of Memory needs to be attuned and recharged to function properly. Optionally assist the Lady of the Lake, Vivienne, with a ritual to get it working again.

The Dueling Ring is closed for the night.
The Cauldron of Memory and the Crystal Cave (or Chapel, TBD) are still open for use.
Midnight
Roleplay ends for the night. Go to bed, or gather in the Great Hall for some out-of-game hangout time.

Your hosts have (in-character) announcements to make, and the floor is then opened for any announcements from player characters.
Vivienne, Merlin, and Ganieda pass out any belongings that were placed in the Lake's storage by everyone's past incarnations. An opportunity to change into medieval clothing if desired (optional, if you brought a medieval-ish outfit).

The Cauldron of Memory, Crystal Cave, and Dueling Ring are open for use.
12:30pm

A formal afternoon tea in one of the sunrooms. A good time for toasts and speeches.

An opportunity for any final questions, deliberations, or changes.
3:30 - 4:00
Characters are seated in a circle in the Great Hall. They will be invited to come up at a time and order of their choosing, to finalize their choice of Remembering or Forgetting.
4:00pm
The larp ends with the closing of the ritual.

Get out-of-character and process with fellow players.

Pack up, exchange contact info, say farewells, and head off site.

Staff and volunteers clean up site and perform site closing procedures. Everyone must be out of the castle before 7pm.
